Synopsis

Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn discovers the rarest of friendships – a lost jaguar cub named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to abandon Hope for the unknown in New York, she dreams for years of returning to the rainforest and her friend. At 14, Autumn, accustomed to city life, discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal smugglers and decides she must return to the Amazon to reunite with her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards) – Autumn’s delightfully clumsy biology teacher – tries unsuccessfully to talk her out of this reckless plan. Anja joins Autumn in reuniting with Hope and saving her from those who want to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
