Synopsis

In the midst of an international crisis, Kate Wyler, a career diplomat, lands a high-profile job she’s ill-suited for, with tectonic implications for her marriage and political future. The producers convince both the American and British governments to allow them to use real-world locations as filming locations for the series, including the still-new American embassy (at Nine Elms), which opened in 2018. The UK allowed filming in the Foreign Secretary’s office, an honor rarely bestowed on any film or screen production, especially an American one.

I loved every second of this series

Although it’s accurately described as occupying the largest plot of residential land (11 acres) in London other than Buckingham Palace, the producers used a country house outside the city for filming purposes. ). I watched The Night Agent, thinking it couldn’t get much better than this, I was wrong.

Everything you could want in a series. The characters and acting were top notch. It was so great to see the delicious Rufus Sewell again and what a role he played, not knowing what he was going to come up with next.

Keri Russell was just magnificent as the ambassador. I loved David Gyasi too. Overall a great series, maybe a little short, but worth watching.
